Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SafePin ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

SafePin is a Pinterest pin designer and scheduling tool. The Service helps users create designer-quality Pinterest pins from blog posts, product pages, or manually entered content and schedule them for publishing in line with Pinterest's recommended best practices. The Service includes:

  • 12 server-rendered pin design templates with color extraction from your source images
  • Smart title suggestions generated from your content
  • Multi-day scheduling with randomized publishing times within peak engagement hours
  • Smart Pacing features that promote a healthy posting cadence (maximum 5 pins per day)
  • Optional auto-publishing to Pinterest via the official Pinterest API (paid plans)

3. Pinterest Integration

SafePin connects to Pinterest using the official Pinterest API. When you choose to connect your Pinterest account:

  • You authorize SafePin to publish pins to boards you select, on your behalf
  • You authorize SafePin to read your boards and basic account information to power the in-app publishing flow
  • You may disconnect your Pinterest account at any time from the SafePin settings page, which immediately revokes our access
  • You remain solely responsible for the content you publish to Pinterest via SafePin and for complying with Pinterest's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
  • SafePin enforces a maximum of 5 published pins per day per user as a safety guardrail aligned with Pinterest's recommended posting cadence; this is not a Pinterest-enforced limit

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute spam, malware, misleading content, or content that violates Pinterest's community guidelines
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use the Service to evade Pinterest's rate limits, spam detection, or content policies
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including the SafePin name, logo, and pin templates) are owned by SafePin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the source content you provide (text, images, URLs) and of the rendered pins generated from that content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Payment Terms

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • Provide valid payment information to our payment processor (Polar)
  • Authorize recurring charges for subscription plans until you cancel

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Pins already scheduled at the time of cancellation will continue to publish through the end of your paid period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We do not guarantee that your pins will perform in any particular way on Pinterest, that your Pinterest account will reach a specific audience size, or that you will receive any specific traffic. Pinterest's algorithms, content distribution, and account-level actions (including suspension or termination of your Pinterest account) are entirely controlled by Pinterest and outside our control.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, harms other users or Pinterest, or otherwise warrants action. You may close your account at any time from your settings page.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
